Danielle Driscoll of Silver Pennies
We were introduced to Danielle through our Authorized Saltwash® Retailer in Bristol, Rhode Island, Sea Rose Cottage. We knew we were going to hit it off with Danielle as soon as we met. Danielle has a super cute family, who we love to follow on social media, and a love of all things DIY. Her blog, Silver Pennies, is amazing and covers a number of great topics beyond just furniture painting. If you follow Saltwash® on social media then you probably already know Danielle, but if this is a first-time introduction you are in for a real treat.
In addition to her wildly popular Silver Pennies blog, Danielle has also published an e-book, On The Tip Of My Paintbrush – Painted Furniture Techniques. Whether you are new to furniture refinishing or looking to mix up your current refinishing methods I highly suggest you check out this book. There is a load of great information regarding many of the most popular specialty paints on the market, the differences between these products and helpful tips on the proper use of these products.
Danielle represented Saltwash® at the General Finishes Flippin’ Furniture Expo in Chicago, IL last October. Her original Saltwash® technique class filled up so quickly that additional classes were added to the schedule for the expo. She has definitely mastered the authentic Saltwash® technique and we also love that she is not afraid to experiment with new ways of using the product.
